Do you collect any personal information about employees?

In both the CHECKUP and online education offering, we do NOT collect any personal financial information as defined by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. Specifically, we don’t request data like date of birth, Social Security number, or mother’s maiden name; collect any financial account information; and / or ask employees to input specific financial information about themselves. We do ask them to fill out demographic and behavioral questions developed and refined over a nine-year process working with a number of leading academics, but the questions collect information in ranges and allow users to “prefer not to respond” where appropriate.

Having worked with 20 state securities regulators, major universities (and their internal review boards), and more than 800 employers on educational research projects rolling out a standard tool / process, we spent a fair amount of time to ensure that our standard approach to privacy / security would be accepted by all groups as swiftly as possible.
